Columbia Gem House's Carvings
At Columbia Gem House, we take pride in our gems, whether it’s our loose gemstones, the jewelry, or our gorgeous carvings! Carvings? You heard us right! Columbia Gem House sells carvings, and they’re a pleasure to the eye. Yet as much as we’d love to keep them to ourselves, we know others would love them even more! That’s why this week we’re showcasing some pieces from our beautiful carvings collection.
Our carvings come in an assortment of sizes and are all hand carved; from tiny pieces to large sculptures— all perfect suited for whatever project you have in mind. Our smaller pieces can be used jewelry and are made primarily from quartz. Best of all, they come in a wide assortment of natural subjects, such as flowers, rabbits, dolphins, and more.
We also sell lovely small freestanding sculptures. They stand between 3-6 inches tall and run the gamut from simple forms to elaborate and beautiful sculptures. Like the smaller carvings, they deal with a nature theme. Many are of sea life: Turtles, fish, and dolphins for example. We also have cats, giraffes, and other on land animals. Wherever they are set, they will surely become a showpiece and conversation starter. Just take a look at this sunfish sculpture, that is made from natural paint brush jasper. As you can see, they're extremely well crafted and beautiful to have.
They’re made using flex shafts- small precision drills used to create these lovely works of art. Then, they’re hand polished to give it a nice clean look. And as our carvings and sculptures are made from natural stone, each carving is one of a kind— whether of the same subject or not.
