Sourced from the Rodeo Queen Mine, this ruby deposit stands as one of few found in the Americas. Nestled in the eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains, these rubies are nearly opaque and embody the rugged energy of their surrounding terrain. Each gem showcases earthy imperfections that render this material distinctly beautiful and unique.
Sourced from a farming village in Madagascar, the name Pomme Ruby™ comes from the word 'pomme,' meaning apple in French, and the root word for apple in Malagasy. We gave this magnificent material its name because the community where it’s found is known for its apple and rice farms. When not farming, the villagers dig for these rubies, which showcase beautifully vibrant apple-red hues with deep, complex tones.
