Introducing Sapphire Color Control Sets

Introducing Sapphire Color Control Sets
After nearly 50 years in the business, we are confident in saying we know color. However, we understand that color perception can be highly subjective; what we might identify as denim could be perceived by another as teal. Our passion lies in colored gems, and we strive for our customers to share in that passion by falling in love with the gems they purchase from us.

To ensure we can assist in finding your perfect gem, we have developed color control sets for some of our most popular gemstone varieties: Montana Sapphire and our Royal Kings Plain Sapphire® from Australia.

These color control sets highlight the most common colors you’ll find in these varieties and how they are defined by our team. These are designed to establish a common language so that every purchase meets your expectations.

It's important to note that as gemstones decrease in size, they often lose some saturation in color. While the hues remain consistent, a 1.5mm stone will never exhibit the same depth of color as a 4mm stone. Because colored gemstones exhibit many subtleties, we strive for transparency in how we define our colors in the same way we strive for transparency in our process of bringing them to market.

You can get a closer look at these color control sets and learn more about each variety on the Montana Sapphire Gem Facts Page as well as the Royal Kings Plain® Sapphire Gem Facts Page. To browse our complete collection of sapphires, click the button below.
