In celebration of Earth Day, we're honoring a milestone that couldn’t have happened without your support.
 
Since the inception of our protocols, we’ve stayed true to our commitment: transparently sourcing gemstones that respect both people and the planet. Our Fair Trade Gems® Principles & Protocols continue to guide every step of our journey—ensuring each gem is mined and crafted with integrity, honoring the environments and communities from which they come.
 
This past year, we took that commitment even further through our Pebbles to Pines Fundraiser. Partnering with the National Forest Foundation, we set out to plant 10,000 trees in critical regions of Oregon, Arizona, and Montana—places many of our gems call home.
 
Thanks to your generosity—with 300 raffle tickets sold and an additional contribution from Columbia Gem House—we met our goal, raising $10,000 for reforestation efforts. Your support then became part of something even bigger: a national effort that led to more than 5 million trees being planted in 2024! This contributes to NFF’s 50 Million For Our Forests campaign, aiming to plant 50M trees by the end of 2025. 

This achievement is more than just a number—It’s a reflection of what we can do together. It’s proof that we can create a lasting impact directly from the work we all do in the gemstone and jewelry industry.
 
So, this Earth Day, we want to say thank you—for standing with us, for supporting responsible sourcing, and for helping restore the forests that sustain us all.
