Tradeshow is Back!
It’s been a minute since we’ve shared on our @columbiagemhousetradeshow Instagram account. So much so that many of you may never have heard of it before!
So, what is it and why care that it’s back?
We originally created @columbiagemhousetradeshow during the height of Covid when, for the first time in history, the Tucson Gem Shows were cancelled. With our owner, Eric, being one of the first people to help get the Tucson Gem Shows going, it meant this was the first time in over 40 years that we weren’t going to make our annual trip to the desert. Now, for those of you who are diehards like we are, you know how disappointing this was. But rather than accepting we couldn’t see any of our friends, colleagues, or customers, we decided to create our own platform that year so no one had to miss out! This account allowed us to still share some of our favorite gems, new varieties and cuts, and chat with all of you even though we couldn’t do it in person.
After the initial tradeshow window, we began to share a bit more sporadically and eventually reached a point where we just couldn’t keep up. That being said, we are excited to share that with our newest team member, Sara, the tradeshow account is coming back!

We will share gems you probably didn’t even know we had along with new and one-of-a-kind pieces. What’s even better?
