Olivia's dual pendants are one of nine pieces available in the Jewelry for Wildlife Fundraiser. There is a maximum of 100 tickets available per piece, with the last day to buy tickets being October 31st. Winners will be randomly selected and then notified by Tuesday, November 7th, 2023.

Pendant Specs: Crafted with oxidized sterling silver and 14k gold accents, this dual pendant piece features responsibly sourced gemstones donated by Columbia Gem House.

Pearl pendant: 15mm wide x 36mm tall on an 18 inch chain. Featuring a ~10mm Cortez Pearl® and two 3mm Grape Garnet® rounds.

Drop pendant: 12mm wide x 49mm tall x 8mm thick on a 22 inch chain. Featuring 4x2mm Nigerian Tourmaline Baguettes, 3mm Neon Green Beryl Triangles.

The two pendants hang on separate chains but share a connector clasp, so they can be worn layered or taken apart and worn separately. This design is reminiscent of some of Olivia's signature Lucid design pieces.

About the Project: This project is a fundraising raffle benefiting wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and research along the Sonoran Coast of Mexico. 100% of ticket sales will be donated to CRRIFS, a non-profit that works directly with the Cortez Pearl Farm; the very same farm where the pearl you see in Olivia's piece comes from.

Vote for Olivia's Design: Olivia's piece is also part of the concurring MJSA Responsibly Sourced Design Challenge. You can vote for Olivia's design as your favorite through October 31st, 2023.

Olivia is a designer, goldsmith and owner of Olivia Shih Designs, and a writer based in Oakland, California.

This ring fits a size 6.75 and features responsibly sourced gemstones donated by Columbia Gem House.

Center stone: 10mm Cortez Pearl®

Accent stones: 4x2mm Nigerian Tourmaline Baguettes, 3mm Neon Green Beryl Triangles, and 3mm Grape Garnet® rounds.

Ring body: The body of the ring is cast in silver with 14k yellow gold bezels surrounding the stones for contrast. You will also see Kindred's signature staple of her work: a 1.6 mm 14k yellow gold curb chain surrounding the center pearl bezel.

Every year, Columbia Gem House sponsors the MJSA Responsibly Sourced Design Challenge. Each piece in this year's raffle was inspired by a fictional story provided by MJSA and then was created and donated to be a part of our fundraising raffle.
