Designer Open Call

As the Project Sponsor of MJSA’s Responsibly Sourced Design Challenge, we’re excited to announce that applications for the 2026 challenge are officially open.

With each passing year, this initiative continues to grow, and we’re proud to support a program that champions thoughtful design, responsible sourcing, and the positive impact our industry can have across the entire supply chain. As part of the challenge, the Columbia Gem House team will once again host our annual fundraising raffle, timed to coincide with public voting for the winning design.

This collaboration remains one of our favorites—celebrating innovative design, transparency in sourcing, and the belief that intentional choices can lead to lasting, positive change.

To inspire this year’s submissions, we’re donating a carefully curated selection of responsibly sourced gemstones: Indian Moss Agate, Green Nigerian Tourmaline, Brazilian Andalusite, and Lavender Winza Sapphire. We can’t wait to see how these materials are transformed into truly original designs.
