New for Tucson 2026

This year in Tucson, Columbia Gem House (CGH) will debut a bold new lineup of gemstones, marking one of its most creatively ambitious showcases to date.

Leading the launch is a highly anticipated collection of faceted star-shaped gemstones, developed in response to strong early interest from designers. After sharing an initial teaser on Instagram, engagement quickly exceeded expectations, prompting the CGH team to immediately expand cutting production and broaden the range of materials. The faceted star assortment will debut in sapphire, citrine, neon green beryl, white quartz, and garnet, with calibrated sizes ranging from 3 to 5.5mm. These gems are especially well-suited for fine jewelry, bridal details, body jewelry, and celestial-themed collections.

Building on the celestial theme, CGH will also unveil faceted crescent moons in sapphire and Idaho garnet, launching in 5x3mm and 6x4mm sizes. Making their first public appearance at Tucson, these stones feature contemporary silhouettes that bridge romantic and modern styles, along with the precision calibration the company is known for.

In addition to the faceted releases, CGH will present a renewed focus on star cabochons in sapphire and ruby. While star cabs have long been part of the company’s offerings, new material acquisitions and a steady increase in customer requests over the past several months led CGH to expand and refine this category for 2026. The result is a stronger, more consistent selection aimed at meeting growing demand for classic, phenomenon-driven gems.

Another major highlight this year is the debut of American rhodolite garnet. Sourced from the same Idaho mining regions as the company’s red garnet, CGH has now isolated rough suitable for a true rhodolite collection—a milestone years in the making. This new line expands the range of American-sourced garnet options and will be introduced to the market for the first time in Tucson.

Together, these launches reflect CGH’s continued commitment to American gem materials, thoughtful cutting, and design-driven innovation. With offerings that span playful celestial motifs and classic gemstone phenomena, CGH’s 2026 Tucson debut is positioned to provide jewelry manufacturers and designers with both creative new shapes and dependable, production-friendly materials.
