Together, We’re Supporting the Heroes of the Outback
Last week wrapped up our Opals for Outback Heroes fundraising raffle — a key part of our annual effort to give back through meaningful, cause-driven design. This year, we partnered with the Lightning Ridge HQ Rural Fire Brigade to support their dedicated volunteer firefighters who protect the communities where our Lightning Ridge opals are sourced.
Thanks to your incredible support, we sold 276 tickets and raised $6,900USD (approximately $10,550AUD) to directly benefit the Brigade. Every ticket purchased helped provide vital equipment, training, and resources for the volunteer teams who work tirelessly year-round to protect lives, land, and wildlife in the Australian Outback.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the nine talented designers who generously donated their time and jewelry creations, and to MJSA for their continued partnership on this meaningful project. Most of all, we want to thank everyone who purchased a ticket, shared the raffle, or helped spread the word — your participation made this contribution possible.
Together, we’ve shown what can happen when creativity and compassion come together for a cause.
