Ticket sales for the Cutting Toward Change Fundraiser will open on October 1, 2026. Each featured piece will have 100 tickets available for $25 each, with no limit on the number of tickets an individual may purchase while tickets remain available. All ticket sales benefit the People Training & Research Centre, working to fight silicosis in the gemstone industry.
This uniquely interactive pendant explores the idea of movement within a sense of stillness. The gemstone-set portion rotates independently from the stationary back and bail, allowing the pendant to shift and turn with movement—or at the wearer’s touch.
A triangular moss agate cabochon anchors the design, surrounded by lavender sapphires and rust-colored andalusites in contrasting shapes. The outward-pointing design creates a sense of movement around the central stone, while the natural palette of greens, pinks, and orange tones brings to mind shifting light and the colors of the outdoors.
A honeycomb pattern on the back adds an organic geometric element, reinforcing the relationship between natural forms and structure. Together, the rotating element and contrasting shapes create a piece that feels both grounded and in motion. At its heart, this pendant offers a simple invitation to pause, take a breath, and step away from the pace of everyday life for a moment—to enjoy something beautiful.
