Raffle Earrings - Anna Nearburg

Ticket sales for the Cutting Toward Change Fundraiser will open on October 1, 2026. Each featured piece will have 100 tickets available for $25 each, with no limit on the number of tickets an individual may purchase while tickets remain available. All ticket sales benefit the People Training & Research Centre, working to fight silicosis in the gemstone industry.

These sculptural hoop earrings explore movement and flow through a circular form and an organic arrangement of gemstones. Each hoop was cuttlefish cast, an ancient direct-casting technique that gives the silver a naturally textured, raw surface and connects the making process to the water-inspired concept behind the design.

Moss agate, andalusite, and lavender Winza sapphires are arranged in patterned directions around the open center of each hoop, creating a sense of movement while framing the negative space. The circular form and shifting stone arrangement give the earrings a feeling of continuous motion, while the earthy palette keeps the overall design grounded.

Designed to move naturally with the wearer, these earrings bring together texture, color, and form in a piece that feels both organic and quietly dynamic.
